• Organic Chia Seeds - long been used as a convenient source of fuel and energy by various North and South American Indian tribes. The Mayan word for chia is “strength”—and with good reason. The outer layer of the chia seed is made of soluble fiber, forming a slow burning, sustaining gel that provides a steady release of glucose (sugar) into the bloodstream. It can literally keep you going for hours. The unsaturated fats in chia seeds are healthy fats—omega-3s and omega-6s—essential to normal nervous system function, mood regulation, and memory. Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids also increase cell membrane fluidity, which means more nutrients can get to your cells, protecting you from disease and illness.
• TheraSweet™ - our safe and healthy alternative to traditional sugar products and artificial sweeteners, TheraSweet is completely natural, and is derived from organic sources such as fruits, vegetables, and hardwood trees. We’ve also included probiotics, which help in the manufacture of essential B and other vitamins, lower intestinal pH, and inhibit pathogenic organisms in the intestines.
• Certified Organic Raw Almond Butter - our organic live nut butters are crafted using a special low heat process that preserves the life-essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, and enzymes. The nuts and seeds we use are fresh, not roasted, and made into butter with a low temperature process (always below 115º F).
• Certified Organic Agave Syrup – a natural sweetener extracted from the pineapple-shaped core of the trunk of the wild food, Salmiana Agave plant. It has been a part of American Southwestern and Mexican diets for centuries and is considered the "Mexican Tree of Life and Abundance". Agave Syrup has a low glycemic index, which makes it ideal for diabetics, hypoglycemics, or those who cannot handle sucrose. Our Agave Syrup is Organic and Kosher Certified.
• Non GMO Rice Protein – Enzymatically exracted, non-genetically modified (Non-GMO). Our rice protein is extracted using a proprietary enzyme process starting from California-grown non-GMO rice. It is processed without the use of acids, bases or other chemicals. The protein content of the extracted product is over 70% which leaves a much higher percentage of carbohydrate in the end product.
• Organic Gum Acacia - a certified organic, kosher ingredient that comes from Acacia trees in Africa. Gums Acacia is a natural thickener used extensively in organic, natural foods for thousands of years.
• Certified Organic Cocoa – our cocoa beans are grown by organic farmers and harvested in the Dominican Republic. The farmers nurture the trees, hand pick the cocoa pods and separate out the beans for fermenting. After a carefully controlled fermentation process, the cocoa beans are dried by an advanced design solar heated air system and then processed into cocoa liquor.
• Certified Organic Chocolate Liquor – our organic Chocolate Liquor is produced by finely grinding the roasted cocoa beans to a smooth, liquid state, then it is cooled and formed into blocks. The liquor contains roughly 53% cocoa butter and contains no sweeteners or alcohol.
